摘要:Current microwave quantum technologies rely on quantum control and readout of microwaves in the electrical domain. The scaling of the superconducting quantum processors poses a major challenge due to the substantial heat load and limited space in the millikelvin environment. In this seminar, I will talk about the recent progress of the field quantum electro-optics, towards hybrid quantum networks of superconducting circuits. 1), Coherent control of a superconducting microwave cavity using laser light via electro-optical dynamical back-action. 2), Quantum-enabled microwave-optical transduction, ready for near-term heralded quantum network protocols. 3) Deterministic microwave-optical entanglement, useful for long-distance quantum communications and sensing applications.
