摘要: Pressure has long served as a clean and efficient tool for altering material properties or creating extreme conditions to synthesize novel materials unattainable under ambient conditions. It opens the door to a new realm, promising an order of magnitude more materials waiting to be discovered than those accessible at standard conditions. This discussion comprises two key topics. Firstly, we delve into the transformative impact of pressure on the crystal structure, atomic vibrations, and electronic configuration of metal iodates—a cutting-edge category of non-linear optical materials. The interplay between crystal structure and various properties will be thoroughly explored. Secondly, we explore the synthesis of nitrogen-rich materials, showcasing their dual characteristics of ultra-incompressibility and hardness, or high energy density. Additionally, we introduce state-of-the-art probing methods employed for characterizing the crystal structure of these synthesized materials, with a focus on single-crystal X-ray diffraction from polycrystalline samples. |
简历: 梁阿坤博士,2019年在四川大学原子与分子物理研究所取得硕士学位,2022年于西班牙瓦伦西亚大学7003全讯入口取得博士学位,从2023年初至今,在英国爱丁堡大学从事博士后研究。研究的方向为金刚石熔点,金属碘酸盐高压下的物理性质调控以及高温高压下金属氮化物的合成。研究的方法包括国产六面顶铰链式大压机和diamond anvil cell,并结合多种原位测量方法,包括高压下的单晶衍射,多晶衍射,拉曼光谱,红外光谱,可见光吸收光谱以及原位电阻测量。截止目前为止研究成果发表于Prog. Mater. Sci,J. Am. Chem. Soc,Phys. Rev. B,Phys. Rev. Mat,Phys. Rev. Res等杂志。因为硕士和博士期间的研究成果而获得2023年AIRAPT颁发的Jamieson Award, 并在博后研究期间获得英国EPSRC IAA Innovation Competition award。 |
